Last Sunday we organized a Mommy and Me Spaahhh Party at a local salon. It was a gloomy wet morning so lazily we slipped out of bed, quickly dressed, pulled out the flip flops, packed the car with simple party supplies and off we went.
At the salon they were waiting for us to arrive, having switched their music to the disney station and wall flatscreens to cartoons... it was the perfect place for any little or not so little girl to hang out for a couple of hours. We set up a breakfast station, stocked with an assortment of refreshing drinks ranging from a Vitamin C packed smoothie to coconut water... of course coffee and green tea were available too. We brought mini muffins and all of the components of a yogurt granola berry parfait... to be served in mason jars! It was a crowd pleaser and easy to carry while in the spa. By the end all hands and feet looked lovely and smiles were abundant. We will be sure to do this again sometime in the future!
